Your Access to Work Funded Service Agreement
This page explains your agreement with Positive Signs for BSL support funded by Access to Work (AtW). It’s a summary of the full contract written in clear, simple terms.

1. What You’re Agreeing To
Positive Signs will provide you with support through BSL Interpreters or CSWs.
You agree that we can claim payment for this support using your AtW funding.
You agree to help us by completing and signing and uploading AtW claim forms.
2. Your Responsibilities
Ensure you and your Manager sign AtW forms promptly.
Let us know about changes (new manager, hours, time off, etc.).
Be respectful to our support staff and attend bookings on time.
Provide a quiet and safe workspace for your BSL support.
3. Our Responsibilities
We will supply Language Service Professionals with full training, DBS checks and insurance.
- We’ll manage all your support bookings and help you with any issues.
- If your usual support worker isn’t available, we will find a replacement.
- We will treat your personal data with care, following GDPR rules.
4. Cancellations
If you cancel support with:
- 0–7 days’ notice – full charge applies
- 8–14 days’ notice – 50% charge (Interpreters only)
- 15+ days’ notice – no charge
If you don’t attend a booking within 30 minutes, we will still charge the full fee.
5. Consent to Use Your Information
We need your permission to:
- Hold your contact details
- Share necessary info with our partners (e.g. Interpreter Manager, AtW)
- Keep records of your support, including booking notes and feedback
We will never sell your data or use it for anything unrelated to your support.
6. Health and Safety
We may ask for a risk assessment of your workplace
You must ensure our staff have regular breaks
You must not film or record our support staff unless we give written permission
7. Ending the Agreement
We hope to support you long term. But we may end the agreement if:
- You don’t return forms
- You cancel support repeatedly
- There are serious issues or risks in your workplace
